This is a good question Peggy but it has an obvious answer and that is the presidents all cover for one another. Each president covers for the last because they don't want their own deeds exposed. When are we going to learn our answer is no longer in the two party system we have now.

Thank you for being the first to raise this essential question. We can no longer continue another minute without a special prosecutor assigned to investigate all allegations of torture from the Bush administration. This is a defining moment in our history and the American people can not be part of a legacy of how we tolerated and allowed war crimes to go unpunished.

I would add this point of clarification: President Obama, Why won't you appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate the allegations of torture and other war crimes committed by the Bush Administration?
